It is a fact. On 14 February, Gerrit Jan van Nifterik signed the agreement with the municipality of Neder-Betuwe. At the Agro Business Centre in Opheusden , in the middle of the largest avenue tree centre in Europe, an office building and storage facilities are being developed for Agro de Arend on a 17,000 m2 industrial plot.

The new building is expected to start in the second half of 2018. A location that evokes many memories among many growers in the region. First of all, an office of the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries was established here. It was also here that Arends de Arend was established by the Gebr. Arends. Supplier and concept in the Neder-Betuwe, active in the tree nursery sector.
